No. Period start and end are free dates — you write them. The system offers a smart suggestion but never imposes one.

Skipping months is allowed; merging them is not. Price-difference indices, advance offsetting and budget allocation are all computed from the period's **end month**. Put three months into onepayment and the first two months' work gets multiplied by the last month's index — the figure comes out silently wrong. You issue three consecutive payments instead.

From the moment you actually approve the payment. For construction works: 30 days to accrual + 15 days to payment. For service contracts: 30 + 30. If your contract states a different accrual period, it can be overridden manually.
